Kenyas Clay

Cheryl was at girls camp Wednesday through Friday. So I got the chance to be with the kids by myself and see if I could do it well... or not.

Well, I won't give an editorial on my successes and failures but I will show you what Kenya made while we played with clay (playdoo)

I Am Being Watched!

Sunday Morning as I was getting ready I got out the clippers and trimmed my goatee. Camden watched. I then jumped into the shower. As I got out Camden was in drawer with my hair trimmers. He was running it over his head... He wanted a haircut.

So, Cheryl plugged in the trimmers and gave him a cute buzz cut. He just sat there and got his hair cut. He was watching me and wanted to do what I did. I'm glad I was doing something good. I better pay special attention to my actions or I might be teaching my children things I don't want them to do.

New Puppy... Not!

A neighbor got a couple of new puppies recently so we went over to see them. Kenya would hardly let one of them down. She wanted to keep it. She kept asking if we could.

The owner said, you can have it. I, not wanting to say "No" outright kept avoiding the question. "We're not ready for a puppy," "We don't all agree to get a puppy," "We haven't asked mom if we can have one."

So, Kenya runs home to ask. Cheryl come back with "What did you tell Kenya!"

Kenya said, Well, its just sooo cute that I can't put it down." Yzabel, though less vocal was in love with the little puppies too. But who really takes care of it? Cheryl.

View the video, it is amazing and as close as we are to a dog at this time. We are considering a hermit crab or 2 for first pets.
